Terms & Conditions

These terms govern use of Platerrr's platform by food businesses ("Business", "you") who sign up to run a storefront, and by their customers who place orders. By creating an account or placing an order through a Platerrr-powered storefront, you agree to these terms.

1. What Platerrr provides

Platerrr is a software platform that gives a Business its own branded online storefront, point-of-sale (POS) billing, staff attendance tracking, delivery coordination, and related tools. Platerrr is the technology provider — the Business is solely responsible for the products or food it sells, their quality, pricing, and fulfilment.

2. Account registration

To use the dashboard, a Business must create an account with accurate information and is responsible for all activity under that account, including actions taken by staff it grants access to. Businesses are responsible for keeping login credentials and staff attendance PINs secure.

3. Zero-commission model

Platerrr does not charge commission on orders placed through a Business's storefront or POS. Where a customer pays online, standard payment-gateway processing fees (charged by our payment partner, not Platerrr) may apply. Platerrr may separately offer paid subscription plans for additional features; any such fees will be clearly stated before you're charged.

4. Orders and payments

Orders placed on a storefront are a transaction between the customer and the Business — Platerrr facilitates the technology but is not the seller of record. Businesses set their own prices, availability, and fulfilment options (delivery, pickup, dine-in). Online payments are processed by our payment gateway partner under its own terms.

5. Custom domains and branding

Businesses may connect a custom domain to their storefront. The Business is responsible for owning or having rights to any domain, trademark, or branding it uses on its storefront.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Platerrr to list illegal products, misrepresent your business, attempt to breach platform security, or interfere with other Businesses' use of the service.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or disable a storefront that violates these terms, engages in fraudulent activity, or poses a risk to customers or the platform. A Business may stop using Platerrr at any time; some data may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Service availability

We aim to keep Platerrr reliably available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update, modify, or temporarily suspend features for maintenance or improvements.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Platerrr is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Platerrr is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform, including disputes between a Business and its customers.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Platerrr after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
